The Theme was High Society and as you can see Alan, Isabel and I tried our very best.

The Music was provided by the Lazy River Jazz Band and as always Anthony spun the 78's during their interval.

The dance floor was busy from when the Lazy Rover Jazz band struck up it's first tune and the atmosphere was spiffing.

The lovely Alison won the bottle of Champagne,
a well deserved prize.
 Alison & Champagne Woo Hoo.......

It was a tickerty Boo night and everyone who attended went home very happy and very, very tired after having dancing the night away into the wee small hours.

Skip(ton) off into the gloriouse sunset.

Greeting Vintage Lovelies,

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the lovely town of Skipton and to have the glorious experience that is........

Emma's Apothecary & Home Store.

Every shelf, nock and cranny is filled to bursting with glorious,
                           mouthwatering retro / vintage goods.

Your senses are bombarded in the Nice's possible way, with wonderful smells, amazing textures and all manner of shinny things.

I had the pleasure of visiting as their extensive Christmas
gift sections went on display and I just had to purchase
a new/retro bauble for the Christmas tree.

Ain't life just brilliant...

And this brilliant little person is on the front cover of the 2012 Diary that I treated myself too,
just look at that face and those wonderfully chubby knees....
just to cute for word.

If you ever get to Skipton make sure to visit this wonderful shop.
