Greeting Vintage lovelies,
Whilst away on our recent Country House break we visited the lovely town of Knaresbrough which is home to the Oldest Chemist Shop in England which was established in 1720.
|The leather bag hanging in the shop where it is said customers used to leave and collect prescriptions.|
The old Chemist is now a cornucopia of mouth watering hand made preserves and chocolates and I could not resist the Cinder Toffee.
We also partook of tea and cake in the delightfully tea rooms and had a clear view of one of the many wonderful windows in the french style of " TROME L'OEIL" which in English means - Trick

It's hard to believe that all of these pictures above are painted onto blank brick walls and bricked up windows and are there for a kind of wonderful magic.
