Heps Cats..... Weekender. Part One

What Ho...

I have as I write this still to finish unpacking from what was one of the best ever weekenders packed with dancing and the most fabulous vintage fashion.
Shady Ray & I travel down by car on Friday, picnicking on the way in the sunshine at random service station.
We arrive mid afternoon and after booking in unloaded.
The chalets are basic but are clean and adequate and many have been double glazed since last year.
Having unpacked we trundled of to find our allocated table in the dining room and to partake of our three course evening meal.
The food was good (ish) and the waiters were both pleasant and officiant.

After dinner we decamped ones again to our chalet to wash and change for a night of dancing and socialising with like minded people in the main ballroom.

This young lady looked so chic

We watched, and danced to for the first half of the evening, Adrian Buller's Swing Orchestra and later in the evening to Benny Lee and the Whistle Stop Five, both were extremely good and the dance floor was packed and we managed to get plenty of dancing in.
We headed off to bed at about midnight as we knew that Saturday would be packed with dance lessons and of course some serious vintage retail therapy, more in part two.

Toodle Pip.
